Organization - Panther Teams to participate in Future Sens Program
Submitted By Kevin Eshkawkogan on Saturday, October 07, 2017
On March 22, 2018, the Manitoulin Panthers will participate in the Future Sens presented by Canadian Tire program which provides teams of all ages the opportunity to play an exhibition game on Canadian Tire Centre ice prior to a Senators home game.

Hockey players are able to skate on the same ice surface as Bobby Ryan, Kyle Turris and Erik Karlsson and then cheer them on from the stands later that night in a game against Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers.

Tickets to the Senators/Oilers game are now being sold to the public by Panther teams, and by Corporate Fundraising Director, Kevin Smith.

With every ticket purchased, purchasers will receive a free chance to win a pair of tickets to the last major event of the NHL’s 100th season.

The Ottawa Senators and Montreal Canadiens will close a 100-year-old circle Dec. 16, when they meet in the 2017 Scotiabank NHL100 Classic in an outdoor game at Lansdowne Park.  The Senators and Canadiens, two of the founding members of the NHL, met on the League's opening night, Dec. 19, 1917. The NHL100 Classic will be the culmination of the League's Centennial celebrations and coincide with Canada's 150th celebration, the Senators 25th anniversary and the Stanley Cup's 125th birthday.

To purchase Future Sens tickets, please contact a member of one of the Panther Teams or Kevin Smith. All tickets purchased before 8:00 PM on November 10th will receive a free ballot for a draw to win a pair of tickets to the Dec. 16th, Outdoor Game in Ottawa. 4 draws for 4 sets of  (2) tickets will occur during the November 10th Alumni game.
